Fc Barcelona have made it to UEFA Champions League quarter final after defeating SSC Napoli at the Camp Nou. The Blaugrana won 3-1 , Clement Lenglet, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez were the scorers with Lorenzo Insigne scoring from the spot for the Naples. Napoli started the game on the front foot with Mertens hitting the post in first 90 seconds of the game. Barcelona could not dominate the possession throughout the game but the converted their chances very well by scoring 3 in the first half. Frenkie De Jong performed really well by his holding play, and Rakitic also had a good game except the penalty he gave away, also Lionel Messi scored a stunner to double the lead .Nelson Semedo put up a great show both defensively and offensively, he had some crazy runs with ball dribbling past the Napoli defenders. Clement Lenglet apart from the goal was defending with passion and not even giving a chance to the Napoli attackers.Napoli gave them a great fight and scored in the last 10 minutes but the goal was disallowed, the dominated the play in the second half but could not make any clear cut chances. Now Barcelona has the biggest challenge in the tournament, they have to face Bayern Munich in the quarter final. Fc Bayern has been in a red hot form throughout the season, they won Bundesliga, they won DFB Pokal now they have their eyes on the Champions League. Robert Lewandowski their marksman is the top scorer of the Champions League with 13 goals. They belted Chelsea in the Round of 16 tie , won 7-1 on aggregate.
